When your children are home, you tend to spend more money on food items, paper items and cold drinks. For lunches, we either send everyone home or coordinate a lunch schedule so that one house isn’t stuck with feeding the whole crew every day.

This one is easy: Water! It’s pretty cheap unless you have to purchase bottled water. I’ve saved so much money by making one purchase. We bought an RO (reverse osmosis) system to filter our kitchen sink water. It was amazing how much money I was spending on bottled water, and all those plastic bottles weren’t doing the environment any favors.

This summer, I’ll just keep pitchers of ice cold water in the refrigerator and refill everybody’s reusable water bottles all day. When my kids go to the neighbor’s house, I send their reusable bottles with as well.

For really active or really hot days, I do pour sports drinks to ensure hydration. Buy the big gallons instead of the little bottles to save money.

Things to Do

Eventually, cheap activities like running in the sprinkler will become boring for your children. You may start thinking about taking them to movies or an amusement park, but there might be another idea. Summer camps for kids may seem expensive until you add up all of the above costs. Do you want to loose weight? Most people do so I think that you are one of them that have tried. In the start it was a struggeling fight, but after I did read some things about the subject on the internet it slowly began too become more obviously for me what to do. My first thing to do was to get rid of all my junk-food in the house and all the other unnecessarily food not to mention all the drinks like Cola and beer. It wasn’t easy for me to do, but I managed to get it done and you what, it feels great, one step closer to loose weight.

After the food wipe out and went to my local food-store and bought all kinds of great healthy food like vegetables, fruit, nuts and much more. After returning to my house and all the food was put in place I really felt like a new person. You see it isn’t that hard.

My next priority was to get in touch with and instructor at my local gym so I could start to burn off some calories down there. The reason why I’m not exercising at home is because I think it is great motivation-factor when you have people around also working out.

So I try to relax as much as possible when I have deciced with myself to relax . Cliche that it is, I wanted to go down the diet and exercise route. Weightloss is a numbers game, calories in minus calories out, if the second number is bigger than the first you will lose pounds.

This first step is the most important because without making a full commitment to the goal you will waver and wander and eventually go back to the same old ways. If you keep on doing the same thing you will get the same result. Decide now. I am going to be different.

The second step was finding a diet program that actually inspired me. I mean ME, in capital letters because everyone is different, they think differently and respond differently to different things.
